Thank you for the feedback and the PDF suggestion. I will look at doing this in a week or two.

<description>Thank you for this thoughtful list. Invitation #5 is my favourite from your list.
Pointer to the Marshall in # 8 is another Gem..
To paraphrase Marshall "To energize others Start with Yourself."
David, how about providing a a PDF version of this list in the EE Forum ?
cheers

<description>Great list, David. I really like question 5, about what gives you energy.

Hey, this could be the start of another e-book!

<description>This is a great, and energizing list. I particularly like #1 - be mindful of our impact on others. It can be easy to think narrowly, and not how our actions can have other consequences. Something we all need to be reminded of. Thanks for putting this together and sharing it!</description>

<description>The best way to help managers/leaders is to make them successful.

To do that, first teach them why the top-down command and control approach to managing people is their own worst enemy because by its very nature it demeans and disrespects the very people they expect to do their work thus causing these people to disrespect their work, their customers, each other and their bosses.

Second, teach the opposite approach which is to listen carefully to their employees and provide to them what they say they need to do a better job.

To learn how I escaped the top-down approach, read an interview of me at
