A big thank you to Steve Hargadon for posting this video. I encourage you to watch this very short video and think about employee engagement in the workplace.
I did not appreciate that it is called government workers at the You Tube site - as I know many people within the various levels of government that are fully engaged in their work, but I think the principle applies to people within a variety of life and workplace settings.
I believe this is a humorous example of learned helplessness that contributes to disengagement.
