If your boss does not respond then you need to determine your options. Do you stay working there? Do you look for other opportunities? Are transfers possible? If you go above your boss to voice this what are the consequences? Are there 360 degree evaluations where feedback can be given about your boss? It is an academic work place. The "worker bees" are not communicated to, are not respected and are not included in conversations, plans, goals, etc. Much of this happens to good employees who have an impeccable work ethic and personal employee file. I feel squelched, frustrated that I cannot do what I have lots of energy to do and is within reasonable expectations of myself in terms of growth. I can't seem to reach my boss. Help!
