Are you ready to begin again by looking at employee engagement with fresh eyes?

In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, in the expert’s there are few.

    Hi, David,

It would serve us all well to approach just about everything as a beginner, eh?

I confess that when I find myself frustrated over a situation, it’s because I believe that I’ve looked at it from a position of experience and, therefore, accuracy.

It’s only by backing off of that position and seeing it as a novice that new possibilities begin to appear.

    Waxing nostalgic over the tricycle…

Novice and beginner are sadly overlooked as very important resources to understanding.

I like the tricycle too, felt a little more stable than learning to ride a bicycle with off balanced training wheels.

Of course if I rode a tricycle today I would more resemble a clown than a beginner!
