Employee Engagement Canada: No Problem?

March 21, 2011 by David Zinger 4 Comments

What’s your problem?

Psychometrics in Canada recently completed a survey of 368 Canadian HR professionals.

These professionals were asked : Is employee engagement a problem in your organization?

69% said yes.

No problem. I see it differently. Employee engagement is not a problem to be solved but an experience to be lived both individually and collectively within our work and our organizations. Perhaps seeing engagement as a problem is part of the problem.

I agree with you David, the core thing to analize is how is engagement doing and promoted inside every organization, not only for the employers and employees. They are importat and so the stakeholders and providers, CEOs, etc., for a great study it must need to have an integrated and holistic view from all angles. Great topic to discuss further. Greetings!

A lot of the engagement “issues” comes down to how we categorize them.
