More or less?
Employee engagement is myopically focused on more and has a major lacuna to the power of less. We are told that we need more productivity, more relationships, more training, and more discretionary effort. Perhaps we need don’t need more effort we need effort-less. Powerful engagement is seeded by less not more. Don’t pile on programs, initiatives, and tasks. Ask yourself: What needs to end? What do we need to stop doing? Engagement begins when we say, “no more.”
