I have attached a 30 minute employee engagement interview conducted by Jo Ann Sweeney. Here are a few snippets that Jo Ann elicited from me during our dialogue. She is a gifted and inviting interviewer:
- we need to not only feel connected to results but we must engage in achieving those results
- in full Zengage their is no separation between the worker and the work
- the simplest way to look at engagement is connection
- see connection as an invitation not an imposition
- there is the opportunity to merge very fully with your work
- there is a return on the merge to us
- engagement is not a problem to be solved it is an experience to be lived
- your engagement changes maybe 20 to 30 times during the day
- engagement is a state of flux and flow, we need real time measures
- I like to look at engagement as a behavioral action
